BOOORRRIIIINNGGGG...

I never realized how uneventful my life was until I tried this blogging thing. Sure I have things that I do that are fun and most of the time hilarious but that doesnt mean that everyone I know will want to read about them. That being said, be prepared for mediocre posts about stuff thats not that exciting.

My house is actually pretty clean right now so I'm gonna try to take some pictures of them (mainly for Ashley's sake since she cant see it AND so she can give me some decorating tips). :) Other than that I dont have any kids to be taking multiple pictures of but I do have a big family and we are always having some sort of get together cause we love to eat so I might throw some of those pictures up here too.

Ok, so as for my life, my brother is living with me right now so thats interesting. I had gotten so used to living by myself that its good to have to share space with someone, especially a guy, so one day when i finally DO get married I wont want to strangle my husband every day. He's such a guy too, since hes moved in I now how a huge flatscreen HD tv in my living room with surround sound so thats cool I guess. My friend Josh had given me a surround sound system for Christmas so I put that in my bedroom so now I am officially never without it... randomly. it is fun to have someone to cook for though so thats good. and he cuts the grass so thats REALLY good. so moving on....

Yesterday I felt like crap. I had the biggest headache that I have ever had, it was literally making me nauseous. So I left work early and went home to sleep. I had a chiropractor appointment at 3, so I decided to go since that might be one of the causes of my massive headache. It was, and it helped, so I was a little bit relieved UNTIL on my way home I randomly got pulled over! I mean really. Turns out my tag was expired (like since February). I was like, "how was i supposed to know that" and he was like "its on your tag"....i wanted to go, really?? cause everyone goes out and looks at their tag before they go to bed. i mean, shouldnt i have gotten some sort of notice?? anyways, to make matters worse, i didnt have my most current insurance info in the car so i got a ticket for that too!! i mean im chuckling in disbelief again as i type this. so of course i can get the insurance thing straightened out but im still gonna have to pay not only to get my tag renewed but the stupid ticket i got for it too. sheesh.

Tomorrow is my dad's bday. I think he will be 72, which seems crazy to me. I cant believe my parents are so old sometimes but they are and it makes me sad. BUT they are in better health than they could be so thats always a plus. We are gonna have dinner for him tomorrow night, but it will of course be random things he likes like ham and butter beans and fried pies and stuff like that but it should be fun. We all pitched in a bought him a recliner for his bday. He has had the same one for like a decade, literally, so i was pretty excited about that.

ok, well i have even managed to bore myself now so that will have to suffice for a little while. :)

pictures of the house.....BEFORE i moved in

so these are a few pictures of the house that were on the for sale website.... i will put some ones up shortly with it somewhat decorated :)

so there you have it....

Well, I am not really a "blogging" kinda person, but I guess since it is apparantly the thing to do, I will join in. So here goes.....

I am from a big family, 5 sisters and 2 brothers, and I am the baby of the group. My family is very tight and for some reason we think that we are way cooler than everybody else, probably because we are. :) My sisters are like my best friends. When I was little it was like having a bunch of mommies around, but as I have gotten older I absolutely love having them around and learning so much about life from them. I have a lot of nieces and nephews, they are all grown up now and even a few are in college!! Man I am so old....anyways, they are fun and I like to think that I am a pretty good role model for them (for the most part). My parents are pretty old, obviously, after having 8 kids. I love them dearly and respect them so much for going through everything they have been through and staying together for 51 years!! I have some pretty great friends that I met in college. I always thought my friends in high school would be around forever but I realized my first year of college that we were heading in two totally different directions. Anyways, I love all my friends from college and I can always count on them (even thought almost all of them are married with children....losers) :)

I recently bought a new house, so I am still pretty excited about that! I feel like such a grown up and it is so nice to come home to your house and do what you want and have everything right where you left it! I think I may be a little spoiled by the time I get married....oh well. Anyways, I lucked up and found a little house in an older neighborhood that had been "flipped" so everything was redone and practically new!! I will try to have some pictures of it up soon for everyone who hasnt seen it.

I work at Faulkner as the "BCJ Coordinator", which basically just means that I am the "unofficial" Director of the Bachelor of Criminal Justice program where you can get your degree in one year. It is a pretty cool job, just because I feel pretty important getting to run a program and make decisions and not just be making copies or making spreadsheets.

I LOVE fall weather and college football. I love to play any kind of sport. I am pretty good at playing the drums on RockBand. I am kind of a control freak. I am too cool for school sometimes, but will still cry like a baby during movies or even commercials for that matter. I am currently a big fan of Dave Ramsey. I have a lot of famous "baby daddies". I think I will be a good mommy one day. I LOVE going to the movies and taking road trips (when gas is not $4 a gallon). I love when people can make me laugh. I like Twix and Twizzlers. I do not sleep under the covers, even in the winter. I love music and I love to dance. I hate cream cheese and cottage cheese and yogurt. I love to make lists and think of ways to organize, although I not very good at actually being organized. I have been to Peru and to the UK. Sometimes I talk faster than I think and say stupid thinks, aka "why doesnt he just hold his breath and kill himself". And that is all I can think of to share at the moment. So there you have it........
